Can you believe it's December already?? I'm sorry that I haven't kept up with this sooner, but several days in November snuck up on me & attacked! Thanksgiving is over & Christmas is just around the corner---AAUUGGHH! I really do love the Christmas season, but sometimes the commitments are a little overwhelming. One of the greatest stress-relievers for me is to do something creative.....stamp a card, work on a scrapbook page, plan or execute a handmade gift for family or friends. I recently held a Christmas-themed Stamp Camp & this card was one that we did. It looks complicated, but it's actually VERY simple! The tecnique used is Versamark resist & uses a brayer to get even color across the glossy CS. I LOVE the look of snowy trees in the background....seems so peaceful & relaxing for this time of year. Find something during this Holiday season that brings you peace & joy & enjoy every minute of it.

VOTE!

No matter what you're doing today (& we ALL have busy schedules!), be sure to get out there & VOTE!! It is not only our constitutional right, it is our duty & privilege. Don't neglect it no matter what you feel like! We may all be tired of this election & all the hype, but in the long run it is our vote that matters. This election is VERY important for all of us, so please.....put down those rubber stamps, those scissors, that tape runner & go VOTE!!

Well, I've finally done it---I've started a blog of my own! I really don't know what I'm doing, but I will learn by trial & error I guess. I've enjoyed reading other people's blogs & have thought it would be fun to try. So.....here goes! Hang on, it could be a wild ride!!

I will start by posting one of the cards we made at a recent Stamp Camp of mine. It showcased many of Stampin' Up's! great punches to make the turkey quick & easy! We also used the stamp set "Thoroughly Thankful" to complete the card. Both fun & easy!!
